Learning in the Digital Age

We all know the internet has radically changed how we communicate in our social and professional lives. One area where technology is having an increasing impact is in education – both in formal and informal learning contexts. We’ve been involved in some small and large scale projects, developing elearning, blended learning, and interactive media solutions to promote positive learning outcomes. One thing is for sure – we all have a long way to go in leveraging all of the potential affordances of new technology in education, but it is a powerful medium for engaging students.

eLearning in Higher Education

Recently, we collaborated to develop HEA accredited eLearning courses, as part of a ‘blended-learning’ environment for science, medicine and technology postgraduates in TCD, UCC, NUI Galway. Links: Information Literacy | Poster Design | LARK

    MIRC

“Emedia has done an excellent job in designing a website for the Midlands Innovation and Research Centre. They translated our ideas – offering advice and suggestions – into imagery and site design that are energetic, dynamic and interesting to the visitor. The site is visually impressive, very well structured and easy to navigate. Emedia were innovative in how the site delivers multimedia content and the whole process was extremely professional. I have already recommended the services of E-media to clients of the MIRC and to other third parties.”
